Development of Innovative Systems linking Academic Education in Engineering and Informatics with Labour Market’s Needs – EngInes
Programme: Erasmus+, KA2, Capacity-Building in the field of Higher Education
Region: Asia & the Pacific
Acronym: EngInes
Objective:
The main goal of EngInes is to develop innovative systems linking academic education in engineering and informatics with labour market needs in 8 HEIs in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. EngInes will form a concrete methodology on finding skills mismatches for professionals and then design curricula upgrading tools with the inclusion of market-oriented changes and adaptations that will maximize productivity and optimize teaching formulas. The project is the first of its kind in the region that will actually measure the effectiveness of curricula, job satisfaction and employability of professionals, that have been largely ignored due to the demand of health workers and little unemployment.
